The school's buildings are laid out in a U-shape, where the buildings shield the school's outdoor area from traffic noise and where the neighboring plot's wood-clad hill terminates the outdoor area to the east. The glass corridor connects the buildings and creates a portal into the school yard. Stabæk is a two-parallel primary school from grades 1-7 with 400 students and 55 staff.
The school's teaching areas are divided into two wings, with 1-4. age levels in the east of the facility and 5-7. age step towards the west. In the center of the facility, common teaching rooms and administration are located in a 3-storey building to give a representative expression to the access, while the rest of the facility is built on 2 floors. Great emphasis has been placed on separating the dirty and clean zones, with all student access to the facility taking place from the school yard through separate changing rooms for each grade level. The facility's outer facades are mainly pre-mixed with dark brick, the inner facades facing the schoolyard are mainly stained batten panels.
